This kit is the Star GaoGaiGar set, which combines the existing D-Style GaoGaiGar with the Goldymarg and Stealth Gao II parts pack. Strictly speaking, Stealth Gao I from the original GaoGaiGar kit is left out, but either way it's quite a luxurious bundle package.

The GaoGaiGar body itself was already a pretty colorful and impressive kit, and with the addition of the even more powerful Stealth Gao II and the Goldymarg Hammer, the overall volume gets a big boost. Since the GaoGaiGar body, Goldymarg, and Stealth Gao II are identical to the separately sold kits, please refer to those individual reviews for more detailed info on each one.

True to D-Style's strength in recreating all those little signature details, you can pull off Broken Phantom and Protect Wall — both hallmarks of Star GaoGaiGar — and the existing Hell and Heaven hand parts and Dividing Driver are included as well. On top of that, Stealth Gao II can also combine with the white Gaiga body unit, and Hammer Heaven functionality is included with the Goldymarg Hammer too. In terms of feature recreation, you could pretty much call this a complete full-option package.

The one downside, though, is that the Goldymarg Hammer — which Goldymarg transforms into — along with the right arm are just too big and heavy to keep raised for long. Unless you pose it with the hammer resting on the ground, the weight will eventually win and the arm droops down or just pops right out T_T. Aside from that right arm instability, there's really not much else to complain about with this kit.

For GaoGaiGar fans, this is a full-option style kit that would make a fantastic gift, and it's an incredibly well-packed SD kit overall. The sticking point is the ¥3,800 price tag, which feels a bit steep for the size.. though to be fair, if you add up GaoGaiGar (¥2,500) + Goldymarg set (¥1,500) = ¥4,000, and then subtract ¥200 for the removed Stealth Gao I parts, the math actually checks out ;; Either way, it's the biggest and most expensive(!!) kit in the D-Style lineup :-)
