Kit Review
Straight build
Straight build
Following the Takemikazuchi Yui unit, the Shiranui Second Yuya Bridges Ver. has now been released in D-Style. The kit shares the same overall characteristics and style, but the designs are subtly different enough that almost everything — aside from some of the weapons — is made up of all-new parts and runners.
The proportions are excellent, and despite being small, the detail and color separation are both pretty solid, so the satisfaction after a straight build is high. Compared to the Takemikazuchi, it does have fewer clear parts by nature, but the sharp, edgy detailing gives it a more refined feel overall. The weapon loadout is the same as the Takemikazuchi, but the D-Style Shiranui Second adds two extra daggers on top of that.
Thanks to the great proportions, even a simple pose looks fantastic despite the not-so-great articulation — this is definitely a kit that delivers. It'd make a great gift for fans of SD-style kits and the Muv-Luv series. :-)
