The Magatsuki-Houten : RE2 has been released as the 55th Frame Arms kit. It's a variation kit based on the previously released Magatsuki, now featuring the renewed frame Architect along with a variety of added weapons and armaments. The Magatsuki Houten was actually released before as a Miyazawa exclusive, and this version replaces the frame and hands with renewed ones for a general retail release.

With the Houten version come two new weapons — the Beryl Short Launcher and the Beryl Short Gun. Ion blaster armor has also been added to the front and rear of the shoulders and the sides of the legs. The base body is otherwise the same as the original Magatsuki, but thanks to the improved frame Architect, joint strength is noticeably more solid. The hand parts have also been redesigned with new sculpts, and the grip on weapons has improved as well. The new Beryl Short Launcher can be spread open and used like a bow, while the Beryl Short Gun can be assembled for either left- or right-hand use.
