The 10th entry in Kotobukiya's hit lineup, Frame Arms Girl, is Hresverlgr. Even among the Frame Arms lineup, this was always a unit with a quirky design and proportions — and now it's back with that design cranked up to an even more complex level.

The silhouette is similar to the Frame Arms version, but the backpack side has a bunch of additional gimmicks loaded onto it. As a result, it has the highest parts count of the lineup and comes in at the steepest price too, at ¥6400. These added gimmicks are there so you can disassemble and reassemble everything into new configurations — specifically a Side Winder form and an air bike form that the base body can ride. The process is a bit involved and fiddly, but the end result looks fresh and pretty dang cool. ^^

The base body follows the same concept as previous entries — it really just feels like the look has changed. (Honestly, the faces all look pretty much the same...) Since it has to carry such a large amount of weaponry, a Kotobukiya exclusive clear stand is included. The kit is basically impossible to stand upright without it, so it definitely comes in handy.

That said, with so many parts and moving pieces, this is the kind of kit that takes a lot of fussing to get into a good pose. It can be a bit of a hassle positioning everything just right, but the flashy visual payoff that comes from all that intricate complexity makes it easy to forgive. And aside from the backpack's upper section being a little loose, the overall joint strength is solid — once you get it posed, it holds well. (A stand is a must, of course!)

The base body on its own has excellent articulation, but once you put all the armor on, it drops off significantly. The hip joints in particular barely lift forward at all thanks to the thick thigh armor, and knee articulation falls to less than half. That makes dynamic posing in full-armor mode pretty tough — but this is the kind of kit that looks great just standing there, so you'll probably be happy enough with that.

Among the Frame Arms Girl series, this is an absolute top-tier kit when it comes to sheer visual impact. If the style speaks to you, it's one I'd highly recommend — it's just a fantastic-looking kit. :-)
