As color variants of Jyuden Kun, the Stylet & Baselard Ver. has been released alongside the Gourai version. The Stylet version's molded color has been changed to light blue, and the Baselard version to yellow. Other than the addition of waterslide decals — same as the Gourai version — the structure is identical.
For the kit's basic features, please refer to the existing Jyuden Kun review, and for this review you'll mainly want to check out the changed molded colors. With the Stylet version, if you remove the verniers on the back it's decent enough for a collaboration, though when you sit her down in the chair configuration, the leg structure ends up in a wide-spread position. With Baselard, if you remove the weapons and just use the base body, she feels like the best match for Jyuden Kun out of the series — but since Jyuden Kun itself is optimized for bare-body type kits like Materia and Innocentia, there's not much you can do about it.
In the end, the version names are just names — the Stylet version at least shares a similar light blue color, but the Baselard version is a completely random yellow with no real connection to the original kit, so it's probably best to just think of them as color variant labels. That said, the articulation and joint strength on these kits are excellent, and having multiple Jyuden Kuns together makes for a lot of fun pose combinations. Aside from expanding your color options, though, this isn't exactly a lineup with a whole lot going for it. :-)
