This kit is the Hresvelgr=Rufus Qipao Ver. released as part of the Frame Arms Girl series. Just going by the name, Frame Arms Girl Hresvelgr=Rufus Agitoit looks like a variation kit based on that, and while the main skeletal parts are reused, 70% of the parts feature new tooling.
The basic skeletal structure is nearly identical to the original Hresvelgr, so it's a bit of an older-style body. The hip joints are comparatively weaker than more recent girl-pla kits — they tend to pop out during posing, and standing upright and holding poses can be a bit unstable. I wouldn't call them loose exactly, but compared to the solid, secure feel of newer releases, it does leave something to be desired.
That said, the distinctive qipao costume is definitely this kit's strong point. The parts breakdown is fairly intricate, making assembly a bit fiddly, but it does result in excellent color separation and overall sculpt quality. The front and rear skirts being articulated is a particularly nice touch — most girl-pla kits have relied on swappable skirts to get leg clearance, so having movable skirts is a lot more convenient.
For weapons, you get a large sword and two tonfas. The large sword can be securely fixed to the forearm using support parts, and can also be mounted on the back in its deployed state using joint parts. The tonfas can accept either of two beam parts interchangeably, and as a bonus, mecha-leg thighs are also included. On top of that, a simple clear display stand is also bundled in.
So while this is a brand-new kit with a large amount of new tooling, the hip joints are actually weaker than those on the original Hresvelgr from 8 years ago, which is a bit of a shame — but the distinctive qipao costume is definitely a selling point. Either way, it's a visually appealing kit, so if the style suits your taste, it's well worth building. :-)
