This kit is Shingen, released as part of the Frame Arms Girl series. True to its name, it's a Frame Arms Shingenconcept reimagined as a girl-pla character — and it's a 100% all-new sculpt Frame Arms Girl kit, which we haven't seen in a while.
First off, the silhouette of Shingen — originally designed around a Japanese samurai concept — has been carried over really nicely into the Frame Arms Girl format. The color separation is excellent, the build feels smooth, and the articulation is solid enough to pull off a good variety of poses. That said, the joint strength is a bit disappointing — it feels like something from ten years ago. It's not quite floppy-octopus territory, but the poses tend to collapse with the slightest nudge, which makes it feel a little unreliable.
The waist in particular tends to pop out during posing, which suggests there may have been an issue with the gimmick design. Other than that, two guns and two swords are included — same as the original Shingen — though one difference is that the guns can be stored on either side of the backpack.
All in all, this is a girl-pla kit that does a great job of reimagining the original Shingen concept with a gorgeous color combination. The joint strength and waist stability are a little lacking for a kit at this price point these days, but it seems like a bit of modding could fix that up. Either way, if the style appeals to you, it's definitely worth giving it a shot :-)
