This kit is the Gene Stellainnocent Version released in Grande Scale. It's an upscaled version of the previously released Gene Stellainnocent Versionbrought up to PG-class size. It has quite a different feel compared to the Frame Arms Girl and Chaos & Pretty Garden Grande Scale kits.

First off, from a "pretty girl" concept standpoint, this looks prettier and more striking than the other Grande Scale kits that came before it. The original design was already great, so it really does look big and beautiful. And since it's a large-scale release, the color separation covers even the finest detail colors across the entire body — chest, knees, ears, shoulders, skirt, you name it. As a result, the coloring is even more vibrant compared to the smaller original kit.

The overall build process is smooth as well, and the durability after completion is solid — very satisfying. The joint strength in particular is just right, and it's clear they've overcome the durability issues that plagued some of the earlier Grande Scale releases. That said, the small gold parts on the shoulders and knees have weak connections and tend to pop off during posing. Just glue those down and the overall stability is excellent.

The one downside is that the skirt is fixed, which severely limits the hip joint's range of motion. This makes dynamic poses tricky, but honestly it's the kind of kit that looks great just standing there. A stand is also included, similar to the Grande Scale Baselard, which comes in handy for posing — and it's much more stable than the Baselard, where the body weight made posing difficult even with the stand. The joints are strong enough that it can stand upright on its own without the stand, though the design gives it small, dainty feet, so leaving it standing for long periods without the stand is a bit risky.

All in all, this is a large-scale pretty girlpla that's come out looking clean and gorgeous. It feels like the most polished and well-rounded release in the Grande Scale series so far. If you're a fan of big-scale kits and girlplas, this is definitely one I'd highly recommend. :-)
