Kotobukiya Frame Arms Girl Hand Scale

Durga I

Kit Review

Straight build

This kit is the Durga I released as part of the Frame Arms Girl Hand Scale line. It's a miniaturized version of the Frame Arms Girl Durga I shrunk down into a super-compact 7cm plastic model. In terms of lore, it's a variation of the Magatsuki, but none of the Frame Arms Girl Hand Scale Magatsuki's runners are reused here — it comes with entirely new sculpt runners.

The basic construction follows the same approach as previous kits, and it still shows off an insane level of color separation for such a tiny scale. Thanks to decent articulation and solid joint strength, there's actually a fair bit of fun to be had posing it. The Hailance is included as the weapon, and just like the previous kits, you get 2 printed faces along with 2 blank faces for waterslide decals. You can also attach the included joint part to the side of the backpack for mounting it on a stand.

Either way, it's great that Durga I has gotten the mini-scale treatment too. It's a small but surprisingly solid little kit, so if it's your kind of thing, it seems like a perfectly enjoyable build. :-)
