This is the Frame Arms Baselard with Bombardment Unit kit, released as a Kotobukiya Shop exclusive. It's technically a shop exclusive, but since it's been sold through various online channels, it doesn't really feel all that different from a regular retail release ^^;
The Bombardment Unit version features an overall color change to a deep, dark reddish-brown, along with redesigned head and shoulder parts. The standout feature is the two ion laser cannons mounted on the shoulders along with a rail unit — they can rotate 180 degrees along the rail. The barrels also pack a variety of articulation gimmicks internally, so you can even position them to be held naturally in the hands.
The articulation itself isn't bad, but if you push the posing too hard, the armor pieces start rubbing against each other and entire joint sections can pop out. You'll want to get a good feel for each joint's range of motion and move things around accordingly.
The overall stability of the base body is decent for a Frame Arms kit, but just like previous releases, repeated posing will loosen things up pretty quickly, so watch out for that. Also, there are quite a few parts that will fall apart during posing if built without glue, so it's a good idea to go ahead and glue any parts that feel iffy during assembly — saves you a headache later.
True to the Frame Arms lineup's style-first approach, this kit does pull off a pretty distinctive look — but the molded color is so dark that it ends up looking a bit drab, which is a bit of a shame. That said, if you're into this kind of heavy bombardment-type mech, it's definitely a fun build worth checking out :-)
