Kit Review

This kit is the Armed Breaker released as part of the Gigantic Arms line, and it's a combined set bundling the Convert Carrier and Rapid Raider that were previously sold separately. With the two kits bundled together, the armor molded color has been changed to white, and as a bonus exclusive to this combined set, a yellow ponytail and three new helmet ear options have been added.
Since this is essentially a recolor combined into one set, please refer to the separate Convert Carrier and Rapid Raider reviews for detailed info on each kit — for this review, the main thing to focus on is the change in molded color.
In Armed Breaker form, the limb articulation is actually quite flexible thanks to the transformation gimmicks, but there are so many joints that it can be tricky to nail down a solid pose. On top of that, the large container unit on the back makes it prone to tipping to one side if you don't balance it carefully, so pulling off a wide variety of poses is a bit of a challenge. That said, the design is so unique that it commands a strong presence even just standing there.
And since it's a combinable kit, you can reconfigure it in all sorts of ways to suit your taste — collaboration with not just the Frame Arms Girl series but also the Hexa Gear series is recommended as well.
At ¥8600 it's on the pricier side, but given that it bundles two kits together with a massive parts count, it doesn't feel like bad value at all — though it does mean assembly takes quite a bit of time. Anyway, personally I think the black Armed Breaker looks more imposing, but the real appeal of this combined set is being able to choose between white and black depending on your preference. :-)
