This kit is the Governor Earthcline Biomechanics Operators from Kotobukiya's Hexa Gear series. It comes with two female characters bundled together — the two share the same body and accessories, with only the heads being different.
The basic parts layout and joint structure are pretty much the same as existing Governors. Overall, the joints are on the loose side, and the waist tends to pop out during posing. The feet are also small, making it tricky to pose the figure standing upright — you really have to balance the center of gravity carefully. Using the included stand joint parts helps a bit, but there are still a few things to wish for.
Accessories include a tablet and a seated lower body. Two of the 16 hands are dedicated tablet-holding hands, so you can pull off some pretty convincing tablet-use poses. And with the seated lower body swapped in, you can naturally recreate sitting-on-the-floor or sitting-on-a-structure poses.
As for the overall look, these come with a smaller, slimmer feminine proportion compared to the stocky male-type Governors. To properly bring out the face, you'll need to apply the eye waterslide decals — without them, the straight build feels a bit bare compared to other Governors.
It's been a while since we got a female-type Governor, and while the look and contents are solid enough, the loose joints — reminiscent of the early Governors — are a bit of a letdown. That said, if you've been waiting for a female-type Governor kit, this is definitely worth a shot. :-)
