A new humanoid character has been added to the Hexa Gear lineup — instead of the futuristic designs we've seen before, we now get the Early Governor Vol.1, which takes on a realistic soldier aesthetic. As you can see, it has a familiar look that would fit right in with military kits, and it boasts an absolutely stacked accessory lineup.

To start with, the weapon loadout itself is already generous, but the pistol and knife are thoughtfully provided in both a combined form (weapon with holster/sheath) and a holster/sheath-only form. The hands come in a whopping 9 varieties, and you can choose from 5 different head styles as well. The core body construction is essentially the same as previous releases — just with a different design — so it delivers the same solid articulation and joints that hold up well enough. Thanks to the abundance of accessories, there's a lot of fun to be had experimenting with different poses.

Aside from the fact that it's quite small for the price, this is a really interesting kit — it's got that feel of a poseable miniature military figure, and it's a fun one to enjoy. :-)
