The Governor EX Armor Type : Quetzal has been released as a humanoid kit in the Hexa Gear lineup. It features a cape draped over the left shoulder and comes equipped with a large crossbow and bow — and you can choose between two cape styles: draped or billowing.

The body isn't all that different from previous kits in the line, delivering impressive color separation and articulation for its small size. Two dedicated bow-drawing hands are also included, letting you pull off a convincing archery pose. The crossbow and bow can be mounted on the back using joint parts, and arrow bundles in various sizes are provided that can be attached to the back or under the crossbow. The head features a long ponytail, though it does tend to pop off during posing. That said, it can be swapped out for a pointed pin-style part if you prefer.

Like its predecessors, this is a kit that's a lot of fun thanks to its flashy weapons and dynamic posing potential — and as long as you can get past the ¥3,000 price tag for something this small, it's definitely worth building. :-)
