Early Governor Vol.4 has been released as part of Kotobukiya's Hexa Gear series. This is already the fourth Early Governor, and this time it's a muscular, shirtless male character. Minus the military uniform, the articulation gimmicks and weapon loadout feel pretty similar to the previous releases.

Two head options are included — a painted head and a bald head. Interestingly, no fewer than three smoking-related hands are packed in: a hand for holding a lighter to light the cigarette, a hand holding the lighter, and a hand holding the cigarette while smoking — all provided as pairs. Thanks to these, you can pull off a realistic smoking pose (...) that you just don't see in other kits.

Anyway, it's a solid, no-frills kit that feels a bit like a small ball-jointed doll, and it's worth noting that a more human-looking Governor kit has now been released as well. :-)
