This kit is a color variant re-release of Hoihoi-san Mini & Hoihoi Carry Plus. Just like the recent previous releases, it's essentially a reissue of the Hoihoi-san Mini & Hoihoi Carry kit from 2010. It's not a straight reissue though — the molded surfaces have been given a matte finish, and as a bonus, one weapons runner from the Hoihoi-san costume change set and one black costume runner have been added, bumping the price up by ¥500.

Everything else — the basic parts lineup and features — is the same as the original kit. Thanks to the matte molding, the colors have a nice, stable look almost like they've been painted. Hoihoi-san Mini doesn't have a ton of articulation, but even simple poses bring out her signature cuteness in full force. With three extra weapons added, you can load up Hoihoi Carry to your heart's content, which does make the whole package feel a bit more substantial.

All in all, this is still a kit bursting with its own unique charm and cuteness. It was already hard to get your hands on since it never got a reprint, so if you've had your eye on it, this might be the perfect chance to pick one up. :-)
