Kit Review

The fourth Medabots kit is Sanjuuro, a sword-wielding samurai. Like Rokusho, he sports big rabbit ears, but the body is comparatively sleek, making it a great kit for striking poses. Just like Rokusho, a bonus right arm with a shield is included, and you can pose him alongside the various dialogue plates just like the previous kits.
Overall quality is decent — for a Kotobukiya kit, it goes together pretty solidly even without glue, and while the articulation is nothing special, you can pull off some surprisingly expressive poses. As for special parts, the sword-equipped right arm can be swapped out for a draw-sword version, and you can swap the hip joint parts to get different leg poses. On top of that, an extra waist joint part is included for compatibility with upper bodies from other Medabots kits, and you can swap between four different clear eye shape parts.
All in all, it's a solid, no-frills Medabots kit — and like the others, character appeal matters more than build quality here, so how much you want to pick this one up will probably come down to how big a fan you are of the original game. :-)
