Kit Review
Straight build
Using the support parts when holding the large bow and tachi gives you a much more secure grip —
though even without them, the hand grip is solid enough to hold them just fine.

Following the Megami Device Asra Ninja, the Asra Archer has been released as a kit sharing the same concept. It uses the same base body as the Asra Ninja, with some additional armor, weapons, and a new head. The yellow ponytail hair, pretty face, and voluptuous figure make this a kit that'll definitely get the guys' hearts racing. The chest in particular is more emphasized than just about any other girlpla out there — honestly, it almost feels like it goes a bit overboard proportionally.
The base body characteristics are identical to the Asra Ninja, so thanks to the excellent articulation and solid joint strength, it holds poses well no matter what you put it in. On top of that, weapon-securing support parts are included for the larger weapons, letting you attach the large bow and tachi to the hands nice and firmly.
As the name "Archer" suggests, the highlight of this kit is the large bow weapon. Normally it's stored on the back, but you can unfold the articulated sections to use it as a full-sized bow. You can also detach both ends of the bow to use them as two separate blade weapons. Beyond that, the kit also comes with sword-type weapons like a tachi and kunai.
You can also combine it with the Asra Ninja's armor and weapons for a crossover build. The process of swapping parts is a little involved, but you can pull off two pretty spectacular Samurai Mode configurations.
All in all, this kit feels like the ultimate showcase of what girlplas can be — the visuals and quality are honestly top-tier among all the girlplas released so far. This is yet another kit that proves Kotobukiya completely outclasses Bandai in this genre, across the board — visuals, proportions, stability, and articulation alike. :-)
