This kit is the Mukou Tsukuyomi Regalia, released as part of Kotobukiya's Megami Device series. It's based on the existing Megami Device Mukou Amaterasu
Regaliawith a changed molded color and additional weapons. With 13 brand-new runners added, it's been completely transformed into a much larger and more voluminous new design.
First off, the volume of the Armed Mode is absolutely massive — easily the biggest we've seen. That's thanks to the elaborate weapons covering everything right up to the top of the head, plus the giant scythe-type weapon known as the Hassaku Kyodaigama (Yasakani no Oogama). The main body uses the Machineca platform joint structure, delivering excellent articulation and solid joint strength. There's a lot of complex weaponry attached, but the joint strength and parts stability are both top-notch, so it holds poses really well overall.
As a special gimmick, you can disassemble the Hassaku Kyodaigama and the Armed Mode's weapons and recombine them to build Kugutsu, a skull-motif support mech. The remaining weapons can then be recombined into Kugutsu's blade and shield, and you can even pose it alongside the main body. On top of that, a book-style weapon called the Manyou Tablet is included, which can also be used in combination with the Regalia [Magatama] that was attached to the back.
So this is a Gunpla packed with a flashy, distinctive style and loads of fun gimmicks — though with so much content, it does come in at a steep ¥12,000. That said, it's a kit that really stands out for its elaborate setup and surprisingly solid stability given its size, so if the style is your thing, this seems like a high-quality girlpla well worth the investment. :-)
