This kit is Takahata Nodoka [Shimon], released as part of Kotobukiya's Megami Device Alice Gear Aegis series. It takes the previously released Takahata Nodokaand changes the molded color to red, with newly sculpted parts added to the mix. The head gear, main body, and some weapon designs have been changed, and the placement of the Top Gear and Bottom Gear has been rearranged.

There's quite a bit of new sculpting for what could be called a color variant kit. The overall look has changed thanks to the new weapon shapes, layout, and molded colors, but the gimmicks are completely identical. The included weapons and accessories are also the same, so for this review you really just need to pay attention to the changes in color and weapon/body design. It delivers solid articulation and joint strength across the board.

The large, heavy weapons are attached in a way that might seem worrying at first, but thankfully they hold on nice and firm, letting you pull off all kinds of flashy poses with stability. That said, with so much packed in, the price tag comes out to ¥13,600, which is pretty steep. Looking at everything included, it's somewhat understandable, but it's definitely a price point that could put some people off.

Even with the hefty price, this is a gunpla that delivers in terms of quality with nothing to complain about. If you're a fan of the Alice Gear Aegis game or just love the style, it's a fantastic kit well worth going for. :-)
