This kit is Zirconia, released as part of Kotobukiya's Megalomania series. It takes the male-type character Megalomania Mephistoand changes the molded color to gray, with several new sculpt elements added. Along with a human-style head, various parts of the body have been reshaped.

Like some other kits in the line, the face uses a pad-printed base with painted eyes inserted into it, and you can change the direction of the eyes using a driver that plugs into the left wrist. The body also sees changes to the rib cage sculpt on the chest, the shoulder armor, and the toe design, while the right arm gets a brand-new large arm blade as additional armament. Since the molded colors are quite different from the original Mephisto, the overall effect makes it feel like a pretty distinct kit despite the relatively modest number of changes.

True to the Megalomania series, the articulation here is absolutely top-notch, and the male-type body is sturdier than the female-type, making posing a breeze. There aren't a ton of weapons or accessories, so you're mostly working with the figure itself, but the sleek proportions and great flexibility mean the poses come out looking really impressive.
