Try to strike an action pose and the waist, legs, stabilizers and so on will pop off with alarming regularity, and even when you do get a pose set, the joint strength can leave the stability feeling a bit iffy. The joints aren't exactly loose, but they're far from tight either — they lean more toward the unsettling side.

So from a reviewer's standpoint, this is a kit that gives you quite a hard time getting poses together ^^; On the flip side, once you do nail a pose, it looks pretty solid. And as you can see, the weapon accessories are absolutely massive in quantity — almost overkill, honestly. It does mean you can pull off things like quad cannon fire or dual-wielding, and make use of all sorts of knives, short swords, great swords, and various mount gimmicks... but realistically you're never going to use all of it. Still, looking generous is never really a downside, I suppose.

If the complex and unique design appeals to you, or if you're a fan of the Muv-Luv series, this is a kit that delivers solid satisfaction in terms of proportions and posing, so it's worth recommending. Just be aware that the joint strength can get a bit frustrating, and the molded colors aren't exactly something to rave about — in that sense it carries a strong whiff of early Kotobukiya kit nostalgia, so keep that in mind going in. :-)
