This kit is the Deluxe version of the Takemikaduchi : Takamura Yui's Deluxe ver. The molded colors and basic runner layout are identical, but paint has been applied to the shoulders, front skirt, and great sword. On top of that, just like the Shiranui Bridges Unit Deluxe version, a tank-class BETA figure is included.

The molded colors are the same, and the added paint on certain areas does serve as a nice accent.. but honestly, the difference in feel compared to the normal version isn't all that significant. ^^; The Shiranui Bridges Unit Deluxe version released around the same time actually changed some of the molded colors from the original demonstration color version, so you could really feel the difference there.. but this Takemikaduchi Deluxe version feels a bit lacking in comparison. On the plus side, the early Takemikaduchi releases had polycaps that were a bit loose, and this Deluxe version seems to use improved polycaps — it's a little better. Still, the polycaps are still a bit worrying T_T

The included tank-class BETA figure is pretty decent quality, though it only differs from the BETA in the Shiranui Deluxe version in the arm pose. It would've been a bit awkward if they'd thrown in the exact same one, so at least there's some difference — thank goodness for that.

Anyway, with the partial paint additions and the BETA figure included, the price went up by 1000¥ — but this Deluxe version feels relatively lacking in value for the money. It's a kit worth recommending only to those who haven't built the original Takemikaduchi Yui Unit before and want a fuller, more colorful yellow Takemikaduchi. :-)
