Yet another Shiranui variation — this time it's the Yuya Bridges unit Deluxe ver. The color scheme is pretty much the same as the existing Demonstration Color version, with only the red sections and clear parts changed. As a Deluxe version, one extra option has been added: the Tank-class Beta, the enemy that appears in the show, is included as a pre-painted figure. True to Kotobukiya's reputation as masters of figures, the Tank-class Beta's quality is pretty impressive. ^^

Maybe it's because the Bridges unit's color scheme is so similar to the Demonstration Color, but honestly the kit itself doesn't feel all that new, and I'm starting to get a little tired of the Shiranui at this point ;; There are so many parts that assembly takes quite a while, and structurally there's no difference whatsoever.. That said, it's not one of the harder Kotobukiya kits to put together, so there's still some fun to be had tinkering with it ^^;

Another bonus in the Deluxe version is that the great sword has blood splatter painted on it.. ;; It's a bit gruesome, but it does add a bit more realism. So with the great sword paint job and the Beta figure added in, the price went up ¥1000.. and an already expensive kit just got even pricier T_T

Anyway, if you're a fan of Yuya Bridges from the show, or if you're interested in the Beta figure, this is probably a pretty good pick for you. :-)
