So while the design looks flashy and great, it's frustrating to handle and the usual 1/144 advantages just aren't there.

Setting aside the joint strength issues, this is genuinely a great-looking kit with the most striking styling of any Shiranui to date — but the fact that even a standing pose is a struggle on something this small is a real letdown. Still, despite those drawbacks, there's definitely something to be said for the fact that this is the first time the third Shiranui has ever been made into a plastic model kit. :-)
