The Kotobukiya Aestivalis series — where every kit is basically the same as the last — now adds the Izumi unit to the roster. Just like the Hikaru unit before it, this kit differs from the Ryoko unit only in body color and head.

All the basic characteristics are identical to the previous kits — great articulation for its size, and joints that are a little stiff but definitely not loose. The fact that it's quite small for the price is still a downside, but it's a clean little kit nonetheless.

Aside from completing the in-show lineup, there's honestly not much new excitement to be had here.. but it does give the feeling that the variation lineup is being built out steadily. If you're a Nadesico fan, this is surely a happy thing, right? :-)
