First off, as befitting a brand-new kit, the overall molded color quality and detail precision are excellent — crisp, sharp details packed in tightly. The assembly process and overall construction aren't much different from other Armored Core kits, so you'll still be going to war with a ton of tiny parts, and you'll need to glue a good portion of them to get solid durability. Articulation is relatively good, but the joint strength is a bit iffy — it's definitely not tight. Not loose either, but... it feels a little uncertain, though it can hold poses well enough. Kotobukiya kits tend to be like this in general, and Armored Core is no exception — the polycap tolerances vary quite a bit, so joint strength can differ from kit to kit. Overall, I'd call it a mid-level, average joint strength. (Which is another way of saying it's hard to feel like things have really improved...)

Anyway, rather than going on and on about it, as you can see from the photos, this is a kit where the overall proportions, design, and fine detail speak for themselves — and it's got decent enough joint strength and reasonably good articulation. If the overall sense of depth and sculpting appeals to you, I think this is a kit you can build and enjoy without too much trouble. :-)
