This kit is the Ariya Unsung Full Package Ver. released as part of the Armored Core NEXT series. Like other Full Package versions before it, it's a reissue of the Ariya Unsungoriginally released in 2009, with additional weapons included — specifically the weapons that came with the limited-edition Ariya White Pearl version.

Since the main body and standard weapons are completely identical to the 2009 release, you can really just focus on the added weapons in this review. The Plasma Cannon "Sultan" and High Laser Cannon "HLC09-Acrux" are the new additions. Both can be folded in half when mounted on the back, and two joint parts are included so you can attach them on either the left or right side. The Acrux also features a gimmick where the central locking pins unfold to extend the cannon.

The main body still shows off its grotesque charm thanks to those distinctive reverse-joint legs. It's a well-done Armored Core kit with impressive detail and sculpting. Joint strength is generally fine overall, though the reverse-joint knees can get a little loose with repeated posing — just watch out for that. Aside from that, it holds up pretty well for a Kotobukiya kit from 2009.

It's a pretty straightforward reissue with added weapons, but the fact that it got reissued at all is what matters. After 15 years, the price has gone up from ¥5,200 to ¥9,800. Still, given how popular the Unsung was among Armored Core kits, this should be a welcome release for anyone who's been waiting for it to come back. :-)
