This kit is the 1/12 Rockman X Second Armor released as part of Kotobukiya's Rockman series. Following the normal Rockman X, Max Armor, and Force Armor, this is yet another armored form — and just like the Max/Force, it sports a complex and eye-catching color combination.

The basic frame, limbs, hands, and other parts are shared with the existing Rockman kits, so aside from the different outer armor, all the structural characteristics are identical. It still shows decent articulation and joint strength, but the awkward ankle joint design means the feet still pop off easily — a problem that carries over unchanged. Once a foot comes off mid-posing, it's really hard to reattach without disassembling the ankle joint, so some kind of improvement really seems necessary.

In addition to the Buster, this kit also includes a Zero Buster for Rockman Zero, so you can equip it on the separately sold Rockman Zero kit. Unlike some other Rockman kits, no clear effect parts are included.
