This kit is the HAW206 Ground Self-Defense Army Ver., released as part of Kotobukiya's Ghost in the Shell S.A.C. series. It's a color variant of the beige S.A.C. HAW206 Prototypethat was released back in 2013, now done up in olive drab. There's no new tooling — it's a straight-up color variant kit.

So all the structural features and accessories are identical to the original, and because of the changed color scheme, duplicate runners are included, which just means more leftover parts. It still boasts that impressive large size and scorpion-style look, and with two arms, four legs, and a big tail, you can pull off some pretty unique poses. The one thing that hasn't changed is that the tail is large and heavy, so it tends to pop off easily — as long as you watch out for that, you can get some reasonably stable poses out of it.

Sure, it's just a color variant, but it's still meaningful that we're getting a Ghost in the Shell S.A.C. kit after such a long time. For fans who had trouble tracking down the HAW206 released 13 years ago, having it come out in olive drab is probably better than nothing — a welcome release for sure. :-)
