The hefty upper body
The head. The mane hair is done in the same resin-like material as the Ichiidosen.
The arm and shoulder shields.
Sure enough, the shields have a crest engraved on them.
Back section.
With the cape on, all you can see is the folded-up Lanze Kanone weapon.
The cape is made of non-woven fabric so it's nice and light,
but don't expect it to drape with natural-looking folds. It just spreads out flat.
Leg section.
The sole. Interestingly, there are wheels on the heels.
Inside the rear skirt, there's a nicely detailed 3D vernier unit like that.
With the Lanze Kanone, cape, and shields removed.
To remove the cape, you have to partially disassemble the back parts and shoulders.
Looks kind of liberated without all that gear ^^;
When the shield is removed, that spot is covered with a cap piece.

Even the red band on the rear skirt is properly color separated — pretty impressive.
The wheels on the heels are realistically done in rubber material.
The heel wheels can be lowered like this
so it can roll around like rollerblades.

Leftover parts
Articulation is an honest 90 degrees.
First, a shot in the stripped-down state.
Joint strength is solid enough.
Let's throw a quick pose.
The colors and style are so good that even a casual pose looks awesome.
Detaching the Lanze Kanone from the back...
You can swap out the middle joint to configure it in this long bayonet-like form.
You open the back-of-hand cover and plug in the grip piece...
But the weapon-holding hand already has the grip molded right onto it,
so the separate grip piece is actually unnecessary.. Hmm..

Wielding two long rifles at once.. What a big shot!?
But here's the truth..
The Lanze Kanone is so long and heavy that the arm joints just can't hold it up.
So those three photos above were actually taken with a screwdriver propping it up from below,
which was then erased with some sloppy Photoshop work. (Look closely and you can spot it lol)
And when you attach the handshake hand with Dygenguar...
You get this wholesome buddy photo. ^^
A fun little option that's very Kotobukiya.
Size comparison with the 1/144 Hückebein.
The Auβenseiter is quite a big guy.
Together with the Ichiidosen horse.
The lore has Auβenseiter transforming into that horse.
It's a very super robot-style transformation concept, so the proportions don't really match up and all that, but...
If you look closely, you can see the front skirt has become the horse's armor,
and the shoulder joints have transformed into the rear leg hip joints.
The shields are the same, but the size difference is pretty noticeable..
Together with the Ichiidosen set.
So if you consider Dygenguar and Auβenseiter to be the same scale,
that means Auβenseiter gets massively bigger when it transforms into the horse..
The Dygenguar/Auβenseiter family all together.
Lined up like this, they really are a flashy bunch.
