TOPThe wings came with partial pre-painting, as expected.
The paint quality is.. neither particularly good nor bad.
The tail comes separately packaged as a soft parts piece,
but despite being called "soft," it's not really a material that flexes all that easily.
This is the kind of slide mold style you probably wouldn't see even from Bandai.
It really brings out a great sense of depth and volume.
And looking at Kotobukiya kits.. you often see slide molds applied even to parts where there doesn't seem to be any real reason to use them
— and there are plenty of cases like that.
The reason Kotobukiya kits are pricey is..
probably because they prioritize design convenience over cost-cutting production methods.
