Kit Review

Straight build
Following the normal version Guarlion, the Guarlion Trombe has been released —
and overall it's a straightforward color variant. However, the Trombe version includes the Divine Arm sword that came with the Valsione kit as a bonus, along with a dedicated hand part for holding it. That bumps the price up by ¥300, and honestly it's a little hard to say whether it's really worth that extra cost. ^^;
The Trombe version's molded colors are very dark, which makes some of the details hard to see, but maybe because of that deep color, it does have a strong presence. Overall the Guarlion's build quality is average — joint strength is fine, but the range of motion is a bit awkward, so it's hard to give it high marks for articulation, and that limits the action poses you can pull off quite a bit.
The Trombe version also has quite a few pre-painted parts, and the metallic gold paint on the outer arm parts is pretty well done. There are also painted parts on the knees and a few other spots, and the increase in pre-painted parts compared to the normal version seems to be part of why the price went up. (Labor costs and all that...)
It's a simple color variant without any standout new features, and the quality is average — but it's a solid kit for anyone who's a fan of the Guarlion or prefers the Trombe color scheme. :-)
