This kit is a variation of the Gun Sniper released as the Gun Sniper Leena Special. The molded color has been changed to a blue and light blue combination, and it's an expanded armament kit that includes the Wild Weasel unit from the Naomi version, plus a beam Gatling gun and linear cannon added on top. As a bonus, 4 small missile pods are also included.

First off, the light blue and blue molded colors are really fresh and vibrant — love it. ^^ The molded colors alone are almost on par with Bandai, and it somehow makes the kit look even sharper too.

The main highlight of the Leena spec is ultimately the newly added beam Gatling gun and linear cannon. Piling even more weapons onto the already massive Wild Weasel unit gives it a seriously hefty volume. That said, it's a kit where only the upper body is severely overweight sitting on top of thin, small legs, so you really need to keep the center of gravity in check. The added missile pods and Wild Weasel unit interfere with each other, making it impossible to spread the legs wide open T_T Because of that, you have to keep the legs pulled inward and stretched out as much as possible... which does hurt the proportions a bit. Though of course, it's mostly hidden behind all that bulky upper body weaponry.

The base kit quality was pretty clean to begin with, but the weapons that completely ignore the center of gravity really hold back the articulation and gimmicks from shining. Balancing the weight while moving the legs isn't easy, so posing options are limited — but then again, all that packed-in weaponry is more than enough to pull off some seriously imposing poses on its own.

If you're into complex, heavily armed kits like the Dark Horn with weapons hanging all over the place, this is a pretty appealing Zoid kit. The Gun Sniper line is also relatively stress-free to build, so it's a kit most people should be able to put together without much trouble. :-)
