Shiny shiny.. This Special Set uses gloss injection,
so the surface has a nice glossy shine to it.
The reflection off the black runners in particular looks stunning..
This Special Set is a kit that brings together all the runners from the existing Unit 1, 2, and 3 kits.
The runners shown above are the ones that contain the head and shoulder parts, which differ between each unit.
The soft pilot/antenna parts that used to be split into 3 separate pieces have now been consolidated onto a single runner.
The clear parts that were also split into 3 pieces are finally all on one runner!
The Ingram Flash Unit — haven't seen this in a while.
The combined decals are... surprisingly wet-transfer rather than dry-transfer. I personally prefer dry-transfer decals.. T_T
Similar to the HGUC special edition, the color pages in the manual have been nicely renewed with a more premium look.
