TOPA truly luxurious gold-plated box..
The surface has a perfect mirror-like reflection.
Among the 7 Club MG event limited editions of 2010, the king is without a doubt the First 2.0 Gold Plating!
The original MG First 2.0 came in a tall, single-tier box..
but it's been changed to a wider, two-tier box. The reason is..
Runners H, I, and J are each included in two versions — the gold-plated version and the poop-colored molded version —
which is why there are 3 extra runners added.
Basically, all runners got the pure gold coating treatment, and the 3 frame-related runners were thrown in as extras on top of that.
So as you can see, the frame runners H, I, and J each come with 2 copies.
The manual includes the original First 2.0 manual along with an info sheet, plus one extra runner layout sheet.
According to the runner layout sheet included specifically for the gold-plated version..
it says to assemble runners H, I, and J using the poop-colored molded versions, not the gold-plated ones???
So it seems the gold-plated H, I, J runners were just a bonus..
But since those three runners alone are enough to complete a full frame body,
you can actually use them to build a separate gold-frame unit on its own (check the full review for more details).
Dazzling pure gold-plated runners.. my eyes are spinning @_@
When you actually pick them up,
unlike regular plated parts, the runners feel rigid and have a real sense of weight to them.
It's like a solid
layer of metal has been applied all over?
You could call this the ultimate Bandai plated kit of all time..
I don't think I'll be able to throw away even the leftover runners T_ü
The gold plating applied to the H, I, J frame runners.
Given how complex their structure is, getting an even coat is no easy task..
but the pure gold plating has been applied with absolutely stunning perfection.
The H, I, J poop-colored runners.
