Kit Review
Straight build
Sticker seals for the forearm area.
All newly created for the Tokugawa Ieyasu version.
Lining them up along the edges is a bit tricky -.-

This kit is the MG Musha Gundam Mk-II Tokugawa Ieyasu version that was sold at the special 1:1 RG Gundam exhibition store in Shizuoka. Shizuoka, home to Bandai's factory, is also famous as the birthplace of Tokugawa Ieyasu — and this kit was released to commemorate the 1:1 Gundam exhibition and Hobby Museum there. I actually picked this one up myself during a visit to the Shizuoka 1:1 Gundam exhibition, and it was later also released as a Club G limited edition.
First off, the basic change from the original Musha Mk-II is that the overall molded color has been switched to gold, and a new runner has been added exclusively for the head, giving it a rounded helmet-style look. On top of that, the sticker seals that were previously included with the overseas limited version of the Musha Mk-II have been newly refined for the Tokugawa Ieyasu version and added here. However, unlike the Musha Mk-II seals which were applied all over the body, the Tokugawa Ieyasu version only has seals for both thighs and forearms.
All other basic features are completely identical to the existing MG Musha Mk-II, and it seems to hold its own as a unique limited edition based on the more striking color scheme and the new head design. As with any limited edition, rarity is always part of the conversation — and given that official sales locations were restricted, I'd say this one has a decent claim to being a genuinely scarce limited release. :-)
