The second of three MG All Clear limited editions distributed as Gundam Base prize event items in the summer of 2008 is the Nu Gundam All Clear Ver. Unlike the First 1.5 All Clear Ver., only the white runners — excluding the frame parts and blue armor — were changed to clear parts, which actually gives this kit a much stronger presence than if every single runner had been molded in clear.

The MG Nu Gundam is an older kit, but its basic frame construction is solid, so the frame visible through the clear armor looks really great. Even if the frame detail itself is a bit plain, the way the frame and the clear armor work together is incredibly easy to read visually.

Anyway, in terms of sheer presence, it's no exaggeration to call this the most effective All Clear limited edition in terms of silhouette — it's a really well-executed release. The clear plastic also feels slightly softer than the usual clear parts, which actually makes cleaning up gate marks and snapping things together a little less stiff than you'd expect.

All in all, the All Clear Ver. of the legendary MG Nu Gundam delivers excellent quality, as you'd expect. Among the three Gundam Base All Clear limited editions, this one is easily the best of the bunch. :-)
