Wow.. the box art is actually pretty cool, better than I expected..
Just like the MG Sazabi plated parts version, the box has a cover band around it.
Together with the MG Sazabi Metallic Coating version box.
The A runners are broken up and individually plated.
The gold-plated parts. The runner base color is orange —
Looks like they did it this way because gold tends to be quite transparent, so the base color shows through underneath.
The parts where the plating didn't fully cover naturally end up looking like vernier colors.. (Was that intentional, Bandai?..)
The red-plated parts.
The silver plating is applied evenly and smoothly.
The darker outer armor parts are molded in a metallic pearl finish with silver flakes spread throughout.
The inner frame is also molded in a slightly metallic finish with a hint of silver.
Just like the Sazabi plated parts version.. the decals have been changed to water-slide type.
