This kit is the plated version of Char's Z'Gok released as a 2007 Caravan Hobby limited edition. More specifically, it's an Extra Finish coating kit — done in the classic Extra Finish style.

As a plated kit, the plating quality is really quite good — it's nearly identical to the finish on the premium Extra Finish kits. Being a Char's machine, it's done in red tones, and the subtle coating texture in purple and that pinkish-red hue (;) is nicely rendered. The internal frame is molded in a pearlescent metallic finish, giving the whole kit a soft, understated sheen.

Aside from the coating, it's the same quality as the standard MG Z'Gok — the parts count is simpler than most other MGs, so it goes together pretty quickly.
