This kit is the MG Zaku II v2.0 Mass Production Type Extra Finish plated version, released as a 2009 Gunpla Expo limited edition. It came out at the same time as the Char's version Extra Finish plated release, and while they share the same Extra Finish plating style... just looking at the color alone, the green Mass Production Type Extra Finish plating has a deeper, weightier, and more striking feel to it. ^^

The plating quality itself is more than excellent, but gate marks do tend to show up pretty noticeably — that's just unavoidable. The MG Zaku 2.0 is such a legendary quality kit that this version delivers plenty of satisfying quality as well, and since it's based on the Type J ground-use variant, the leg missile pods are included too.

It was oddly harder to track down than the Char's Zaku Extra Finish plated version, which is why this review took so long... but seeing it in person, I have to say it does feel a bit cooler than the Char's version. Either way, any limited edition of the absolute-quality Zaku 2.0 is more than welcome!
