This kit is the MG Char's Zaku II v2.0 ~ Clear Color ver., released as a 2010 Gunpla Expo limited edition. Being a clear version of such an already excellent kit, the overall quality and feel are exactly as good as you'd expect.

True to the 2.0 name, the inner frame is packed full, and it's a real treat to see all that frame through the light crimson-tinted clear parts. ^^ The only thing I wish is that the color were just a bit lighter so the inner frame would show through more clearly. Compared to the clear kit from the old Zaku 1.0 days, the difference is just staggering.

That said, because the dark-colored inner frame is so densely packed, the overall look comes across a bit dark.. It makes me wonder if a bright silver inner frame might have looked even better — but even so, I think this is a pretty worthwhile piece as a high-quality limited edition. :-)
