To protect the plated surfaces, all runners are fully wrapped in double or individual plastic bags
It feels less like plating and more like a thick coat of matte silver paint
Up close, it looks something like this..
The paint coating on the red parts. It's a red pearl silver finish.
The blue parts also have a pearl + silver metallic feel.. (a color that doesn't photograph well)
You can kind of see the pearl effect, right?
The navy blue parts also have a pearl coating
The most unique coating color of the bunch. It's really hard to capture in photos,
but depending on the angle, it gives off a sort of chameleon color effect where you can see hints of purple and blue.
All the frame parts have a dark iron metallic coating. (Also hard to see in photos.. T_T)
