Unlike a certain someone who loves red, here's Ramba Ral-sama who loves blue~

This limited edition is the so-called "Ral Dom" — Ramba Ral's custom Dom — and it's a unique coating version done up in an overall blue tone. Among the three major limited edition Doms (alongside the coating & clear version and Char's Custom coating version), this one had the smallest production run, making it quite a rare find.

True to its role as the personal unit of Ramba Ral-sama, who loves blue, all the external coated armor panels are done in a blue coating, and the body's molded color is also a deep navy blue — so the whole thing is just blue through and through. That said, because it's so uniformly blue all over, the color scheme does feel a little bland.

The coating looks slightly less glossy compared to the Char's Custom Rick Dom coating version. Look closely and you can tell the coating quality itself is actually quite good — it reflects like a mirror — but blue just doesn't have quite the same visual punch as red. Still, considering that blue is a notoriously tricky color to coat, this is a really solid result.

This kit is made to commemorate Ramba Ral, and it includes the same 1/20 Ramba Ral figure found in the MG Zaku I Ramba Ral's Custom, along with an 8-page pamphlet covering his personal units and the related kits. (I forgot to scan it, but I'll get it up soon -.-;;)

The base kit quality is great to begin with, and this is an all-around excellent coating version — a must-have for any Ramba Ral fan. ^^
