Weapons do get the coating treatment occasionally, but the dark iron coating on the MG Gundam Ver. O.Y.W. 0079 Extra Finish version has a really striking color and looks fantastic. ^^ And as you'd expect from a plated kit, the joints are a bit stiffer, so the whole body locks in rock-solid without any looseness whatsoever. Great articulation combined with excellent joint strength makes this a fantastic kit for striking action poses. :-)
