Box size comparison with the PG Zephyranthes.
The width is the same, but it's a bit shorter and thinner.
For a ¥25,000 PG, the box is smaller than I expected.. ;
Interestingly, the manuals come separately, shrink-wrapped on the outside of the box.
Usually they're just loose inside the box without any packaging.
Box A contains the 00 Gundam body and basic weapons.
Makes me think they might have originally planned to release just the 00 Gundam as a PG first, in that configuration.
Box B contains the 0 Raiser and additional weapons like the GN Sword III.
The 0 Raiser alone has quite a bit of volume to it.
Close-up of the box art on the A/B boxes.
This is the dedicated stand included as a first-run limited bonus.
It comes in a separate black box.
Runners covering every inch of Dalong's Gunpla Gallery floor.
The inner frame detail on the main body has pretty sharp edges.
A style that's both refined and has great depth.
The 0 Raiser's frame feels like it's a slight step down in quality compared to the main body.
The infamous finger runners..
A lot of people are probably going to be disappointed that these aren't the multi-part articulated fingers you'd normally expect from a PG..
The clear parts for the weapons are pretty massive.. That's PG for you..
A good number of runners are subtly set up for reuse.
It looks like they may have been planning to release the main body, weapons, and 0 Raiser separately at some point —
there are injection switch gates scattered around that seem completely unnecessary right now.
It's packed really securely.
Each piece is individually wrapped in plastic too.
Feels like they're being treated with extreme care.. ^^;
Interestingly, the PG 00 Raiser actually includes the mercury batteries right in the box. No need to buy them separately.
Most kits sell them separately, but since this one uses a rather unusual battery type, it looks like they decided to just include them.
Various spring parts for the clutch gimmick.
That big, chunky spring on the left looks pretty unfamiliar.
Not something you'd normally see in a typical Gunpla kit..
The anti-slip sole stickers first seen in the PG Astray are included here too.
They were actually pretty useful, and it looks like the positive reception has turned them into a new PG tradition.
Again, there's a front and back side, so be careful during assembly!
The side where you can see the rainbow hologram effect is actually the rough side.
As usual, two manuals are included — a color instruction manual and a black-and-white assembly manual —
but interestingly, this time they're printed in a wide landscape format.
