This is the last PG custom set released in 1999, and it's Custom Set #2 for the PG Zaku II. Just like the custom set for the First Gundam, it includes clear armor parts that weren't in Custom Set #1, along with weapons: two missile launchers, a Schürzum Faust, and a light-up Heat Hawk.

The missile launcher and Schürzum Faust are solidly done and come out nice and large, but the real highlight of this set has to be the unique light-up Heat Hawk. It's a different feel from the light-up beam saber included in the PG First Gundam custom set, though it uses the same special battery. The LED light-up unit even includes a PCB optimized for the Heat Hawk's structure, and the light-up effect feels even more unique than the beam saber's.

The clear armor can be combined with Custom Set #1 to make the entire body clear, and both rear calf armor variants — for the Char custom and the mass production type — are provided in clear. That said, when you go full clear, the inner frame tends to look a bit too dark, so the effect really shines when you've painted the frame to some degree.

Either way, this is a rare item with a pretty unique lineup, and it'll be a real treasure for anyone looking to give their PG Zaku a fresh new look. :-)
