This kit is the SD G-armor released as BB Senshi No. 29. Unlike its predecessors which came in at ¥300, the richer overall package bumped the price up to ¥500. It includes all the parts needed to build the G-armor along with the First Gundam body.

First off, the First Gundam body is an all-new sculpt, different from the one used in BB Senshi No. 20 Perfect Gundam. The color separation is more Gundam-like and better overall, and a waist swivel joint has been added on top of that. As a bonus, the beam rifle got a spring gimmick and is noticeably bigger, and the shield is larger too — it's an upgrade in pretty much every way.

The G-armor parts at the heart of this kit feature color separation faithful to the source material, and the transformations into G-Fighter, G-Bull, G-Sky, and G-Buster are all faithfully reproduced. A Core Fighter for combining is included separately. On top of that, the G-armor's cannons have two spring gimmicks built in, and eye seals with pupils are included just like in previous releases.

As an older SD kit that really delivers for the price, it was later repackaged in 1999 with a smaller resized Core Fighter as the G Generation G-armor— so keep that in mind if you're interested! :-)
