Kit Review
Straight build
Straight build
The ever-popular Gundam Mk-II has been reborn as a BB Senshi, with the Titans version releasing first. True to its new-generation status, it comes packed with a big, bold proportion and plenty of detail. ^^
The molded colors come out in a clean Titans color scheme on par with MG/HGUC kits, and even with just a straight build and a few seals, it already looks pretty solid. Some folks have pointed out that the shoulder proportions feel a bit awkward, though on the flip side that does give the shoulders a bit more flexible articulation.
The full set of standard weapons is included, and that even covers the Vulcan pod that plugs onto the head. ^^ That said, just like previous kits... it's a bit of a shame that the weapons have quite a few sink marks. On the bright side though, there's a neat little gimmick where the cockpit hatch can open slightly!
The cockpit doesn't open all the way, but it's still the only SD kit out there where the cockpit actually moves.
The Mk-II has been completely reinvented, and in that striking Titans color scheme no less — this is an absolute must-have for any Gunpla fan. If you're looking for a fun SD kit to build, this one should definitely be on your list! :-)
