Rounding out the Operation V trio, the Guncannon has been reborn as part of the new BB Senshi SD series. As you can see in the photos above, it's gotten a lot bigger compared to the old G Generation Guncannon, and the quality has improved by leaps and bounds.
Following the BB Senshi First Gundam and Guntank, the Guncannon also comes out with excellent quality and proportions. It's got a big head, a nicely chunky body, short legs, and clean color separation — though part of the chest duct inevitably had to be handled with seals. As for weapons, you only get a single rifle, which looks great but has some pretty bad sink marks...
Even with the standard BB Senshi level of articulation, you can pull off some pretty cool and cute poses. It looks even better displayed alongside the BB Senshi First Gundam and Guntank. And as guided in the manual, the First Gundam, Guntank, and Guncannon can all swap their upper and lower bodies with each other. It looks a bit silly, but it's actually pretty fun. ^^
It's a solid, exemplary BB Senshi kit with quality that's well worthy of the Operation V trio, and it's something any Gunpla fan can pick up without hesitation — whether you just want a quick and satisfying build, or you're looking to put together an SD Operation V set. Highly recommended. :-)
